Since 1982, Silva Paris has been perpetuating with passion and rigour the savoir-faire of the upholstery craftsman in its workshops in La Sauvagère, in Normandy, and in Moncoutant, in the Deux-Sèvres. We collaborate with Interior Designers and Decorators in their creations of textile decorations, furniture, wall hangings or window decorations, whether for hotels or high-end residential projects.
In our Normandy workshop, curtains, plaids, blinds or cushions require our seamstresses to devote themselves to detail. From the application of trimmings to a subtle pleat, from a hand-sewn Flemish ring to the installation by our upholsterers, our creations dress the world's most refined interiors.
In our workshop in Moncoutant, around a chair or an armchair, a chaise longue or a bench, a sofa or a meridian, our upholsterers are committed to detail in each of their gestures. For each seating, declined in different materials, covered with a fabric or upholstered with leather, the technique is driven by the importance of comfort and correctness of proportions.
Covering a wall, a section of wall or a ceiling with a stretched fabric transforms a space into a real scenery. From the laying of the wooden strips to the stapling of the molleton to the installation of the wall hangings, our craftsmen perpetuate this ancestral savoir-faire with passion and have the art of fine craftsmanship at heart.
From Parisian palaces to sumptuous residences, with classical or contemporary decorations, each of our creations becomes a storyteller. From our confections to our furniture pieces, each of our creations is made to measure and expresses the creativity of Interior Designers and Decorators.
